Phoenix Talks are very sad to announce the death of our friend and colleague, Val, who died of cancer in December 2007.

Val had an eclectic career. With a degree in languages, she worked variously in publishing, adult education (teaching English and literacy to visitors, new arrivals, refugees), schools, then finally trained as a reflexologist, then as a homeopath.

She was also a Reiki Master, Energy Meridian Therapist and passionate advocate for Japanese wellness technologies.

We have dedicated this weekend seminar to the memory of Val.
