A 2-day seminar on Miasmatic Facial Analysis; a fascinating new approach to homeopathy, was presented by Grant Bentley, Principal of the Victorian College of Classical Homeopathy, Australia, to an enthusiastic audience of both practitioners and students.

This seminar was specifically designed to be practical and instantly usable by practitioners. Grant has developed a complete miasmatic model consisting of facial features, themes, philosophy and remedies, and during the course of the weekend, Grant showed many of the definitive facial hallmarks to each miasm.

THE SEMINAR

In this seminar, we were introduced to a new and easier way to understand, recognise and prescribe for the dominant miasm in patients. Following on from the works of Allen and Roberts, Grant put forward compelling evidence to support their original hypothesis that every individual is dominated by one particular miasm. Based on this hypothesis, Grant demonstrated how remedies could now be classified into stable miasmatic groups making remedy selection after repertorisation less complicated.

Roberts gave many examples of how facial features belong to an individual and definitive miasm. Taking this thought further, Grant has developed a complete miasmatic model consisting of facial features, themes, philosophy and remedies - which was illustrated at this seminar with great clarity.
